5th Generation Treatment Program

7 Levels of Care

1. PREVENTION

  • 5th Generation will work to increase awareness in the Turtle Mountain Community of the dangers of alcohol and drugs though education, lectures, in the schools and to our communities with the intent of promoting a positive, healthy, drug free lifestyle.

2. INTERVENTION

  • 5th Generation provides intakes, screening, evaluation, diagnosis, and makes referrals to the appropriate levels of care needed for the cliental. 5th Generation will take most alcohol and/or drug referrals from various agencies from the surrounding communities.

3. OUTPATIENT

  • 5th Generation provides Outpatient Treatment. This level of care is designed to offer a low intensity treatment to clients whose illness has not progressed to require consistent, near-daily treatment intervention but not day treatment or residential care.

4. DAY TREATMENT

  • 5th Generation provides Day Treatment. This level of care is designed to offer higher structure of care intensive treatment to clients whose illness has progressed as so to require consistent, daily treatment intervention but not residential care.

5. RESIDENTIAL CARE

 

  • 5th Generation provides Residential Care twenty-four (24) hours clients coverage seven (7) days a week. This level of care is designed to offer a highly structured intensive treatment to clients whose illness has progressed so as to require consistent daily treatment intervention.

6. RELAPSE

  • 5th Generation provides Relapse. This level of care may require that a client re-enter Day Treatment or Residential Treatment depending on the severity of the relapse and is designed to help the chemically dependent person to get back on the road to recovery so the person may remain abstinent from all mood altering chemcials.

7. AFTERCARE

  • 5th Generation provides Aftercare/Continuing Care. This level of care is designed to help chemically dependent persons continue their individual process of recovery after they have completed treatment. Aftercare is an essential part of treatment to help chemically dependent persons remain abstinent and maintain a happy healthy alcohol and/ or drug free lifestyle.
