Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act

WIOA is a federally funded program designed to offer training to poverty level applicants, in various areas, such as: maintenance, office, carpentry, janitor, fie dept (firefigher), or a summer youth employment (ages 14-21).

*Program year is from July 01 to June 30.

Placement for Adults is based upon an Agency's ability to hire them, once training is completed.

*Participants much be Tribal enrolled, with a Tribal I.D.

As with most programs today, applicant/participants must pass a drug test and background check. In many cases participant must have a valid driver's license.
