Mission Statement: To provide services that support responsible fatherhood, economic stability, and healthy relationships.


Vision Statement: To strengthen the relationship between a father and his child.


The Turtle Mountain Miikanaake (me-can-naw-kay) Program is a Tribal Program created to help strengthen responsible father-child engagement, improve economic stability, and promote healthy relationships for fathers. All participants take part in an evidenced based parenting curriculum and are assisted in the development of an Individualized Plan. The Individualized Plan is developed for each participant for addressing their own personal needs and goals. 


In our program, you will: 

  • Lean how to work with your co-parent more effectively.
  • Learn positive parent/child engagement tips to help your children grow and succeed at all ages.
  • Participate in an evidence based parenting curriculum.
  • Learn how to manage your finances.
  • Get work skill training assistance.
  • Get the individual support you need to work on your employment, educational, housing, health, and legal issues.
